I did the same, texted with a dude for over a month. He was a med student but seemed like he didn't read, didn't watch anything but Chopped, and didn't do anything but play video games with his old Marine buddies. Wasn't interested in politics or anything. My life is politics and books. We wouldn't be able to meet in person for months. And in the end, I just... I couldn't. I was so bored with him. There's so little to talk about!

I am going on a blind zoom date tomorrow with a friend's friend! It's gonna suck.

Yeah, I was texting with a guy for awhile and ended up kind of ghosting him. I didn't really plan on ghosting him, but some shit came up that pulled my attention elsewhere for several weeks and I knew that I was trying to slowly end the conversations. He was a nice guy, but one of those guys that felt too nice, and not in the good way.
