Variety confirms that Lucy Liu has been cast as the lead in Shana Goldberg-Meehan’s multi-camera workplace comedy.
Liu will play Devin, the fierce and powerful head of Shelter, a large and successful modern furniture company. Devin’s life changes she adopts a baby and she feels at a loss at how to be a mom.
Liu will also be a producer on the series.
ABC hopes to begin shooting the pilot later this year.
