I can't wait to read this. Ruth is just so amazing. I've spent the last week speaking to various people and doing some self-reflection on my journey as a half-black/half-indian child who moved to the US from Jamaica at a young age. I think some day I would like to write about it.

I can't decide what I feel about Emma Dabiri - playing woe is me I have type 4 hair and I'm mixed race.

Interesting that Ruth's family has straong/respected ties in Ireland - I wonder what her family do for a living.
