From writer/director Jon Stewart comes the comedy of a Democrat political consultant (Steve Carell) who helps a retired Marine colonel (Chris Cooper) run for mayor in a small Wisconsin town.

Jon Stewart’s IRRESISTIBLE is a toothless political satire that seems woefully out of touch with the world we live in. Rose Byrne is obviously still flawless in it anyway.

Irresistible lacks any laughs or wit, which is particularly disappointing coming from Jon Stewart.

Jon Stewart's new movie is very disappointing and couldn't have arrived at a worse time.
