I'll wait to see it in motion before I judge but the fact that it's a Goro Miyazaki film does not give me confidence that it will be good

Typically my favorite part of Ghibli films are the hand drawn backgrounds and creature design (the human designs aren't my favorite but they are always animated well.) I don't know how I feel about the 3d designs, they obviously worked hard to try to retain some of the 2d design elements but I feel like this won't end up being as timeless as some of the other films. Hopefully the story is well done.
