The foulness of that one tweet about retarded/Asians made me flinch aggressively and she just CARRIED ON? Like wtf.

ikr?

she acknowledges that "retarded" is a bad word/shouldn't be said so the bitch *knows* better (in 2011 no less) but then she goes on to be blatantly racist?

way to one up yourself, i guess.

her apology means nothing lmao

Poor girl, she was only 26 (!) years old in 2013 when she was still posting all this violently racist comments on her Twitter.

Wow. She’s just a kid. I’m sure she’s learned better since then. Give her break. Don’t just cancel people. Educate them.

As an ambassador for the Asian American population, I am on my way to her house now to give her lessons so that she can unlearn and learn and live with love and light. Namaste!

I’m kind of tired of seeing the same “animals>>>people” comments in reaction to someone being vile toward a group of people. The topic is some white woman saying another group of people are less than and then we get comments like “yeah, aren’t animals better?” I get you aren’t saying “animals>>>Asians” specifically but these comments just feel tone deaf, along with “I wish we could wipe humanity out” comments that people say in reaction to hate. It’s easier to write off minorities along with their oppressors I guess.

Her apology, while not having the trappings of 'if you were offended' or not actually apologizing, is the Camila Cabeo (sp? I dont care to look it up) vibe of not actually specifying how racist you were in case not everyone knows and you dont want to tell them.

This made me go back to my oldest tweet from about 2013 and it was just inane shit into the void for the last several years.

I'm now also curious about whether people in her comments for those were like this is fucking racist or like lol Meghan you are so funny. At this point I'm getting pissed at the enablers as well.
