SOPHIE is rumored to have writing credits on this track but the credits aren't avail. the first 10 seconds makes me think she had a hand in it but we'll have to wait and see. C'mon Ally vocals!

I feel like SOPHIE is overhyped. I do like some of the remixes made by them but otherwise I feel like the sound is rather generic in terms of today's dance pop. It's all 2001 euro type techno

NO. Just No. You're entitled to your wrong opinion but her debut album is one of the strongest efforts i've heard all decade and was worthy of all the hype and praise. It's a shame Gaga didn't go harder with the experimental sounds when she had Sophie at her disposal because all the elements were there.

Not calling SOPHIE's sound generic in the Chromatica post
Who else does this type of sound design?

It’s a grower! At first I was meh on it but I’ve had it on repeat now

I love

-Babylon
-rain on me
-sine from above
-Alice
-free woman

I think the only song I don’t like (and I don’t even hate it) is 1000 doves

1000 Doves sounds like it could be a Hillsong dance track if they would ever produce dance tracks.

Actually, I noticed how most lyrics in Chromatica have been heavily inspired by her new Christian faith then I looked up the lyrics on Genius and they referenced Bible verses for almost each song lol.

LOL ikr. My exact reaction when I read the references on Genius.

Even rain on me referenced a bible verse.

I’m actually glad she released this album now. The past 2.5 months have been awful and ngl this album has brought my spirit up a bit. It’s fun to dance to.

Lol, the only thing is about the chromatica delay. Sis, we're still in a pandemic. You didn't release if because Stupid Love flopped and people's interest in the album was dwindling until Rain on Me dropped.

Anyways, the album is her most cohesive in a while and this is the type of music I like from her. I respect her flexing her genre muscles by moving from genre to genre. It's a good dance pop album. It should've been released on 2016 though when this sound was popping. Katy did it with Witness but ya'll slept

I stan witness. It’s an ARTPOP moment for me, I only appreciated it once time passed.

It took me a minute too. I'm not a Katy stan at all, I kinda hopped off her after her debut when she went full Gaga Top 40 and it just seemed to shameless. Witness is the type of dance music I like and I feel like many people who trash the album didn't listen to it in full. It's great dance pop. Unpopular opinion but I like edm Katy. 365 snapped

I'm not a Katy Perry stan. I liked the cohesive-ness and the message in Witness. However, I felt like it came to late for Katy. She made all these silly pop songs of girls just want to have fun type stuff, and then all of a sudden, she wanted to be serious.

Replay is my fav, but I like Free Woman, Babylon, Fun Tonight and 911 too! It’s not my fav album but it’s a fun listen and great for dancing.
