Showrunners Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan discuss some plot points from the episode and season overall along with co-writer Denise The, who addresses the fates of certain characters.
this season was a disappointment. the last two episodes were mostly exposition, i already don't like the ~chosen one thing that much and it's especially annoying that it's a guy named caleb, it's a bummer dolores and maeve spent most of the season being adversaries.
If you told me during the first season of this show it would turn into a low-rent "Terminator" clone, I would have thought you were crazy.
Season one was an interesting exercise in world building and existentialism. Season two was confusing, but had great episodes like "Kitsuya" and the Shogunworld episode. This season was boring and insubstantial.
i have tried 3 times to watch this season's premier and i could not get into it. i watched the prior seasons. i watched recaps to make sure i remember everything. but it was just so not what i wanted or expected. maybe its because i find jeffrey wright's as an annoying and painful person to watch - i just could not watch this. is it worth trying to watch? my brother told me it isnt
They really killed the momentum by having characters break out into the real world so soon. This already felt like a final season. It’s a missed opportunity to not have explored the mythology of the west world and it’s vastness such as shogun world which was a highlight last season. What’s the rush? Has somebody offered the showrunners a Star Wars deal?
I had to lowkey laugh when Bernard told him to hold on while he made a stop to go have an emotional scene with [Spoiler (click to open)]Gina Torres. Like, I enjoyed the scene and always like seeing that actor, but I couldn't stop thinking about Stubbs just slowly bleeding in the car the whole time.
Lmao, right? Like the lowkey audacity to be all [Spoiler (click to open)]"You're a good friend, Stubbs" when it's like, uhhh, you literally took away his choice by programming him to be your bodyguard, lol

I blame the GoT influence. Season 1 is leagues ahead of the other ones.
