Toni Collette is one of the most critically acclaimed and beloved actresses working today. Though not necessarily a household name or an awards favorite, she has demonstrated fluency in multiple genres, accents, and character types that few actors could match. In this video I break down how!

I love BKRW. I haven’t seen the video yet but smh, this is breaking format just a tiny bit ?but not really since she had that ASIB video).

I mean to watch Heredity but I don’t like horror movies lmfao. I’m a scaredy cat. But I keep hearing how good Toni is and I’m a sucker for good independent movies.

I love it when genuinely talented actors have that sweet "fuck you" money and can pick and choose what roles interest them, big or small.

I remember seeing her in her very first movie back in the olden days - Spotswood (I think it’s called The Efficiency Expert in the US). Also an early film for Ben Mendelsohn and Russell Crowe. And Anthony Hopkins being super nice around the same time as Silence of the Lambs was scaring the shit out of everyone. That was jarring.

Anyway, it’s a lovely little film and she was really good in it. She’s not a favourite of mine particularly, but she deserves the career she has.
