So now they say whatever the fuck they want, because they know they won't have to resign or they'll still be re-elected, and if they're not, they'll get a nice cushy ass job straight out of office "consulting" for some company they gave shit to while in office.

So much of the Vegas economy is dependent on things that are not safe during a pandemic- large crowds for shows, people constantly touching surfaces to gamble, etc.

It's frightening they don't have a mayor who is more cautious.

I really dont understand how they can do social distancing in the casinos. Even though the Wynn came out talking about thermometer cameras its impossible with that amount of people to be able to stop everyone with a high fever. Also what about the asymptomatic people.

Yeah I really don't know, I'd honestly just tell people I know to not go to Vegas at all this year. I just think about all the gambling machines and how it'd be impossible to keep them clean at all times. It's worrying when so many retired people love to spend time in Vegas as well.
