I've seen a few critiques in the whitewashing of Phyllis Schalfly.

Did they whitewash her? Oh god, I hope not. I haven't seen the miniseries yet but I remember the era and these women and I hope it's honest.

They whitewash the fact that Phyllis was also pretty racist.

I watched the first three episodes this weekend and thought it was REALLY good. I can't wait for the fourth episode!

One thing that I liked about the show is that it isn't spoonfeeding us everything.

Like it's not come out and said that the reason Phyllis and her friends can even do all this Stop ERA work is that they have black women as maids, taking care of their children and doing their housework. The black women working for these rich white ladies are a presence in the scenes with Phyllis and her friends, but the show doesn't feel the need to create a neon sign pointing to it.
