i think unschooling could be an interesting concept if it wasn't bordering on crunchy mom nonsense in practice. after sitting in a class for 4.5 hours and barely learning anything new i have to say being forced to learn stuff that doesn't have your attention/isn't engaging is a shitty way to learn and is physically/mentally exhausting.

Yeah. I agree when you put it like that. I don’t think I’ve learned much in school and we had 17 subjects to learn every year. English, biology and history are the only subjects I’ve actually learned and use/remember to this day.
