Ahhhh, I wondered where some of these buildings are located, and if they are real or CGI enhanced. They are beautiful!
I loved episode 2, but this one fell kind of flat for me. And I hated all of the cut to black edits... almost every single scene ended that way, and it was incredibly distracting. I think I just find the other storylines more compelling.
Re: the host bodies situation, [Spoiler (click to open)]my husband thinks that Dolores is Wyatt and Charlotte is Dolores, and I truly don't remember enough about how previous seasons resolved to know if that's physically possible or not, but it (or something like it) makes sense . They are clearly trying to do a good/evil sort of contrast with the two characters, and with Charlotte in all white and Dolores in all black, they resembled the yin yang symbol while they were cuddled in bed.
I was hopeful after the first episode, but I have not enjoyed the past two episodes. This show is just not very good. Not sure if I’m going to even bother watching the rest of this season.
I'm so glad I started watching because I'm obsessed with this show. I hate strawberry anything, chocolate is always the superior choice.
[Spoilers ahead] A popular theory on Reddit is that Dolores managed to split herself into two separate parts, putting nice Dolores into Hale's host body and keeping Wyatt in herself but how is that possible if Wyatt was never a actual host, therefore doesn't have a pearl? Wyatt was just a program that Arnold merged with Dolores. And a lot of people seem to think that host!Hale is being influenced by the real Charlotte but that doesn't make sense to me since the host body is merely a vessel to carry the pearl. How could the real, dead Charlotte Hale be interfering? Unless Dolores created a new character with some of Charlotte's original traits to do her dark bidding.
Two years and this boring, disconnected mess is the season we get. These singular, hyper-focused character episodes are not doing it for me, minus Maeve and even then that was just Maeve. It’s like instead of giving us a plot filled with mystery, they gave us a mystery by leaving out the plot.

Also, while I love Jesse Pinkman, Aaron Paul's character is TRASH, he better turn out to be a robot or something because I hate him so much lol.
