I haven't watched this show but I just wanted to say that I love him in Killing Eve, he and Jodie play off each other so well.

I heard people compare this to GOT (when it was good I guess lol), maybe I should give it a shot.

It’s so not GOT. More Xena than GOT. Maybe, like, the look of the show - it’s pretty and looks excellent- but it doesn’t take itself that seriously.

There is a pretty extensive mythology/history in both so I guess that comparison is there. It definitely doesn’t hold your hand through the first episode - just sort of throws you to the wolves of plot. The GOT pilot did that too. It takes a few episodes to figure out what’s what (no spoilers but I can see why some people wouldn’t like it for that reason - but it’s spelled out by episode 3 or 4). But yes, its high budget syndication TV and I adore it. 😂 The first episode maybe not so much, but the second is like a different series. (The bard appears in the second episode and he’s like the goofy, plot-driving sidekick with a lute. Like if Gabrielle and Joxer had a baby.)

awww I'm sure he will do great, but I know Mark Hamill wanted to be Vesemir and I want all the things for Mark Hamill <3

I’m 50/50. I love Hamill, but I’m kind of happy it’s an “unknown” actor (I mean, I know him, but a wider audience doesn’t). It helps me get into the character. I have a hard time not seeing the mega famous actor.
