I love Seven so much and I want to know everything that has happened to her since Voyager ended. She learned how to drink without becoming a mess. And I enjoyed all the weird costumes. And I find Elnor amusing. Agnes is confusing to me but Allison Pill is a delight. And I did not miss the incest Romulans.
But I didn't love this episode. I've never said this about DISCO or even the first four episodes but this didn't feel like Star Trek. Too shiny, too much talk of money, and to Star Wars-y. That was a classy Cantina. I'm hoping this is just a blip and things will get back on track next week.
I like this show. But we're halfway through, and I don't feel like we've gone anywhere. Season two of "Discovery" was a non-stop thrill ride by comparison.
Meanwhile, the "Romancing the Borg Cube" plot is total filler at this point.
I didn't know Romulans enjoyed old Terran films, because Narek and his sister seem to be big fans of "Cruel Intentions."
I enjoyed the ep for what it was, and tbh i'm just tuning in for the performances from Sir PatStew, Michelle Hurd and Santiago Cabrera. And also Alison Pill to an extent.
But Evan Evagora and Harry Treadaway are both just not good. And Peyton List is scenery chewing big time.
LOVED Seven though!!!! And had absolutely no feelings about killing off Icheb. It's what Manu deserves, just like being recast is.
At this point i'm just looking forward to having Discovery back so I can have my happy cute af loving Space Family back on screen <333

Elnor / Evan Evagora is not really a character for me so far. I liked child Elnor but so far adult Elnor he seems to be just... there.
