Lark Voorhies was on Dr. Oz - along with her mother and her doctor to talk about her mental health. Lark has a Schizoaffective thought disorder which causes her to have trouble articulating her thoughts. You might remember years ago hearing about Lark being bipolar, that's because her mother had no idea what to call Lark's illness. And Lark was having trouble coming to terms with the fact that she is sick. Dr.Oz wanted to have Lark on the show 2 years ago, but it became clear during the pre-interview that she was still unwell, so they cancelled the interview and put Lark and her mother in touch with - psychiatrist Dr. Modir.

With regards to the Saved by the Bell reunion, Lark is hurt, but very pragmatic about it. She reads an entry from her journal in which she articulates her thoughts on the cast reuniting without her.

"I have to admit I did feel a bit slighted and hurt."

“I have to admit I did feel a bit slighted and hurt when I was not invited to be part of the Saved by the Bell reunion, as well as other cast members events,“Yet, of course, I also realized that having this puzzling disorder may have played a major part in that factual decision. With that in mind, I am truly thankful for having had the chance to work on a show that has been so successful.”
