Charlie Puth posted on IG about Justin Bieber's new album. His original caption revealed Justin asked him to post about it (not clear whether he was told what to post). He has since edited the caption but fans on Twitter caught it.

this is pretty standard for album campaigns. asking other people with followings to also share it, especially labelmates/people who've written with you.

It’s not just the (stadium) tour bundles - he’s got merch bundles, multiple vinyls, multiple cassettes, four Target exclusives, basically stream spamming with how much YouTube content is featuring at least one minute of his various songs, huge playlist payola on all other streaming services, discounts... all with one of the biggest/most desperate promo campaigns any artist has done in long time.

I’m not sure a 500K+ OW can be hollow, but if one can, it’s going to be this one - and that’s basically what he needs to hit with the rollout they’re doing.

I forget the calculated collabs too, which are used to inflate streaming numbers.

That’s fair tbh, it just seems like such a non event rn. But I mean didn’t Harry Styles get 500k his first week? And I feel like that was a non event to everyone but stans. 🤷🏽‍♀️
