Hard case for him to prove. An article I read said that other witnesses did not have the same account of what allegedly happened. The article also said that Gritty had been repeatedly hit in the head. If kids were hitting me on my mascot head, I would probably get miffed too.

I used to work with costume characters (even was one on a few desperate days but I’m too tall to really be many lol) and the way you’re strapped into those heads makes it SO dangerous for people to hit or punch you in any way. A few yrs ago someone punched one of them and the girl inside had to be taken to the hospital bc it gave her a head injury.

People really think assaulting people in costume is funny 🙄 like teach your kids not to hit anyone, ffs
