It’s weird to read people describe them as a band one has a phase with or that is for younger years. I’ve always seen them as a well respected band. Sure, I don’t keep up with everything they release, but never grew out of liking them or anything like that. They’re not like, My Chemical Romance or so that’s strictly something one would love in teenage years and cringe in hindsight after. Anyway... ;)

Agreed. I don’t listen to them as much as I did when I was younger because they make me feel even more anxious than I already am, but I will always consider myself a massive Radiohead fan.

right? like sure RH resonated a lot with my 16 year old self, thats how i got into them in the first place, but Kid A is still just as much a wrestling match of emotions for me and them releasing Stuff is just as big a deal as it was ten years ago aha.

UGH I am so tempted to buy like four of those old shirts lmao :( I've also been waffling over getting a ticket to see Thom in Glasgow but it's over £50, ugh

If only I hadn't been so stubbornly anti-Radiohead up until 2007 then I would probably have already owned some of those shirts and wouldn't be in this pickle tbh! I still remember being at the HMV on Oxford Street and deciding on a whim to listen to In Rainbows at one of their listening stations. I stayed for the whole album and then pretended like I never told anyone I hated Radiohead haha

14 year old me would have lost my shit over this. I scoured the internet for everything I could find about them back then. I still love them, just without the passion of a miserable, hormonal teen.
