That is true, in a way. It's amazing she went from Atonment... to THAT.

Although, Hanna is really underrated and that was one of the few films/performances post-Atonement I liked from her during that era.

I think so. He's made some good film choices like '71 and Dunkirk and well-regarded Brit TV series like Wolf Hall and War & Peace and The Tunnel, but most notable accolades have been for his stage work including a Laurence Olivier award. He's well-liked, with a great work ethic by all accounts.
