Ah, that makes sense. Because I was wondering if the Hollywood ticks were of an extremely aggressive kind. Where I live is on the list of highest risk of tick bites in the world. And people do get them all the time in certain parts of the country. Like my dad gets them every year because he doesn’t take the precautions. But you rarely hear about people having to go on antibiotics. And I’ve only ever heard of one man dying from it and he was 95 and refused to take Medicine.
