Starring Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, Ella Jay Basco, and Ewan McGregor, the film opens February 7, 2020.
Rosie Perez is the only thing i gaf about in this film
Also, it's interesting that Margot is nominated for both bombshell and ouatih.
Bombshell's subject matter reminds me of Tarantino and Uma and her decision to join the film that was sold as a mansion murder film to be released in the anniversary of the murders.
I do hope this film does well and is well made so there can be sequels and the supporting cast (Rosie) can get that dc $$$
Eta- hopefully Ewan's character dies and the dog in the still has a meaty role.
Margot was the one who originally pitched the film as a Harley spin-off where she teamed up with other female superheroes, though it would have made more sense to call it Harley Quinn instead of Birds of Prey.
i understand her intention but it's silly to me, we could have had a harley/poison ivy movie AND a birds of prey movie but we instead get them squashed together and WITHOUT oracle!
It’s the worst combo of CGI backdrops for everything of scale (cityscapes, explosions) and then small sets on soundstages for the interiors-which almost always looks cheap, fake, and disproportional in ‘big’ action movies like this. doesn’t help that the color scheme is so Hot Topic circa 2010. and yet still I will be supporting this with my coin.
