I feel like trump has no idea what he’s doing and he did very little research on this

Yeah, that's basically confirmed.

The story going around is that his advisers provided him with a bunch of options for how to respond to the American contractor who was killed. Assassinating General Solemani was tossed in there as an extreme option to make the other options seem more reasonable. BUT THEN TRUMP DECIDED TO DO THAT ONE.

Why they would have included that option in the first place is beyond me.

lol i think it was their attempt to manipulate him into picking the choice they wanted. Like lol I'm thinking of that 30 Rock episode where Liz and Pete are going to present Jack with their top picks for a new cast member and they're strategically picking who they'll show and in what order in order to get Jack to pick the guy they want.

The most under qualified president we’ve ever had will surely do fine with this international incident he created, right?

This is all Trump's fault. We wouldn't be here if he didn't pull out of the Iran deal. We also wouldn't be here if we didn't decide to overthrow Iran's government in 1953 all because they wouldn't let the British control their oil. It would be nice if the US could get to a point to understand how our imperialism has fucked over so many countries, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

Yep. And then we get mad when countries respond to our acts of destabilization/terrorism.
