Yes and no - I’d read that it was probably going to be that character that made a return but I didn’t expect it like that.

Not 100% sure how I feel but probably because I’m still mourning Missy and the chemistry she and Capaldi’s doctor had.

The Doctor and Yaz in suits though? I live for it.

I too am still (FOREVER) mourning Missy and Capaldi!Doctor's wild chemistry!!!

I think this is Simm Master though, so at least it doesn't negatively impact all that happened with Missy.

No! A few seconds before O revealed he was the Master I picked up that he was. But I didn’t expect him to kidnap the Doctor like that. Really I should have picked it up when O mentioned the files he had on the Doctor to Graham.

I really enjoyed this episode, but I do wish it was a Christmasy themed one. I really loved watching Doctor Who on Boxing Day and it became a tradition.

They didn't have to go this hard? Like I understand that it's been a year and it's the new year, but so scary and aiming so high with the villain - what is the rest of the season going to be; two more episodes of this and then monster of the week?

I hope they keep Jaz and Ryan platonic - cute comment about him becoming her brother-in-law, but there was a lingering gaze I didn't care for.

Heck, I was even less bothered by Graham than usual.

I SCREAMED when I figure out who O was. I didn’t pick that and those monsters are legit scary.

I really enjoyed last season, but tuck this is next level. This is almost at 10 Doctor for me.

I kept zoning out it was all rather boring and the ending didn't redeem it. The Master is almost as overused as Daleks at this point.
