I'm glad Alita: Battle Angel won something. I know it's not a popular opinion but I really enjoyed it and the animation and special effects were top notch.

Accidentally reading Parasite spoilers ruined the movie for me

Read the spoilers and then saw it and felt like the spoilers made me like it less than I would have otherwise.

i actually think the importance people place on being surprised by Parasite is overstated. rewatching it i still get a literal chill every time That Scene comes around. but only because at that point im already super locked-in to the movie
