True, but MCU also abandoned a lot of plot lines they built up (like how in AoU they just completely ignored everything that happened in Winter Soldier. UGH) So I’m glad this, despite being just a TV show, will continue to deal with the aftermath of Endgame.
I mean, were the shows not currently being made/planned for Disney+ ever really perceived by Marvel as truly mattering? I think F&WS is gonna be the first 'real/true' MCU show that ties in with the movies.
so are they going to shoehorn sharon in with bucky now since they've stripped him of every single person in his backstory in the comics that made shit interesting? no more steve. they fucked up his potential arch with natasha. i mean they legit made a black widow movie that deals with the red room and no bucky.
emily didn't deserve the hate she got, by a mile. but i find her so utterly bland.
I don’t think EVC got a lot of hate. She was just a damn boring choice and people made it known. She only got that role because of Revenge and the ABC/Disney tie-in. They should have cast someone who had ANY kind of chemistry with Evans. I’ve liked her in other things but Sharon was not it. They needed someone more dynamic to try and make the ickyness of it all not matter as much.
