I love it even if it's not perfect, and my thirst for Cavill's body is fucking endless. Jesus Christ....

I'll be honest, the pacing is very off at times, the dialogue is a bit clunky, the special effects are a bit iffy at time, and some of the plot is a bit wonky but... I still enjoyed it?

Like I'm under no illusion that it's something mind blowing, but it was entertaining.

Also I'm loving the Geralt and Jaskier relationship, this killed me:

[Spoiler (click to open)] I was so mad at Geralt lmao. The poor baby just wants to follow you around and write songs about how great you are, you don't get to yell at him because you're a fuckup.

That's how I feel about it. Like. I was confused most of the time and cringed more than a few times but I was entertained enough to continue lol

haven't made it past the first ep really didn't like that [Spoiler (click to open)]that geralt told renfri that she would be the monster they said she was if she had her revenge and killed that wizard/sorcerer for destroying her life/facilitating her rape and abuse by the guy who came after her. its a bullshit narrative as its one of the main motivators for like 99% of male heroes. left a real sour taste in my mouth along with the fact that [Spoiler (click to open)]he ended up killing her. like why not just leave town? its not like she ended up hurting marilka. the fact that she ends up killed and the wizard survives is garbage. i doubt i'll continue.

[Spoiler (click to open)]I think the show wasn't clear enough about it. But in the story, iirc, Renfri was basically going to just kill people in the town at the marketplace until Stregobor left his tower so that she could kill him. lol. That was her plan. (and to be clear, Renfri had been murdering people for years leading up to this, she's not a good person... )

Ah that makes more sense. Idt they were clear at all with what was going on between those two other than us knowing [Link to spoiler]the wizard dude was the bad guy so it didnt help that Geralt said no to helping her and made him look not so great about it

It took a while for me to realize that the various storylines are not happening within the same time frame. I'm only on episode 4 though.

they have a throwaway line to it in episode 1 actually, when Renfri (?) says to Geralt that Queen Calanthe has just won her first battle or smth, which Queen Calanthe talks about as having happened way in the past in the Cintra storyline.
