People ask me, as a bi person, how I can still identify some of my relationships with men as queer?
1. I am not straight, never have been,
so all my relationships are queer on some level.
2. I have dated a lot of queer, androgynous, fluid men.
3. I have had open relationships.

i hate this microidentities trend and i hate how much it diluted lgbt discourse as a whole. they make up bullshit, nonsensical, non-existing "identities" to identify as queer and take up space despite not facing any structural and institutional oppression that we face. as an academic, queer theory has never not angered me for "problematizing" gender. it's so individualistic and contributes to our erasure tbh
