I will never understand why people who cheat don't throw games every now and then to avoid suspicion - winning so many games you are a statistical anomaly is some dumb shit. But people are greedy.

Gambling has zero appeal to me - the house always wins.

no, i don't gamble and my city is trying to get a casino to open up to the point of paying big sums to state politicians to legally allow it. everything i've read about how casinos affect small towns is NOT GOOD, and i don't want to be some old puritan lady but eesh. i'm not looking forward to its inevitable opening.

my city has already thrown money at a failed retail development so now they're trying to dig themselves out w a casino. fun.

Oh dang... good luck to you guys :( they're building ours right next to the mall started building in 2007, never finished, just tore down -_- there's def no stopping this casino. It's a native American tribe that's doing it, it's a done deal oh well
