I would love to know the reasoning between The gender choices. Like there must be something in her head that makes her go “poet is a girls name but story is for boys”

Only here to make an obligatory comment on how someone here previously said that the only thing that girl will be Lakynn is melanin.

Alright, I'm out!

Just looked at the list on the SSN website for 2018, and Evelyn is #10, which blows my mind! That's such an old fashioned name to me, and I don't know a single person who has given their kid that name. Every other name on both lists makes sense to me.

My name peaked in the 80's and has never returned to its former glory, but I still love it.

Heck, I'd probably name a girl Eleanor.

Eleanor is for sure making a comeback - it's #32 for 2018. It was super popular in the early 1900's, dropped in the 70's and 80's, and is now really popular again. As far as pop culture, you've got Eleanor on The Good Place and the book Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine that I can think of off the top of my head.

Eleanor has been on my list for a while. I’d want to call her Lola.
