i'm wrapping up if on a winter's night a traveler by calvino and am bummed because it's so good and i'd prefer it to go on forever

i'm sad bc my eyesight is getting so so bad and reading isn't good for it but reading is the best distraction. and i can't do audiobooks for fiction

anyway if anyone else wasted an audible credit on cat marnell's travel diary let's start a class action. i wasted three hours of my life on that shit

You can return it! Just do it over desktop, you can't on mobile.

I like that as a theme too! It's quite broad so the potential is there

I really enjoyed Our House, The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle and Normal People this year so I def recommend those for anyone interested in reading them.

I'll be reading My Sister, The Serial Killer and I can't wait!

I found 7 Deaths really hard to get into at first and almost gave up but I kept seeing people reading it so I persisted and about 100pp in, I really started enjoying it. It starts off really confusing send it took ages to figure out what was happening but I figured that might have been the point because we're jumping into the same shoes as the protagonist.

I would definitely have given up way earlier normally though because it shouldn't really take that many pages to get into a book.
