Juicy Couture went from being beloved by celebrities like Paris Hilton to being sold at discount retailer Kohl’s. While the brand dominated the early 2000s with its tracksuits, accessories, and perfume lines, it quickly lost its value following the Great Recession.

Did you own and wear Juicy Couture pieces back in the early 00’s?

A missed opportunity tbh. I saw lots of people that were willing to pay good money for one (myself included lol).

For me - It's because of their insistence to have their tracksuits be one colour. The material they chose for their tracksuits is honestly great and very luxurious looking, but having it just be in one block of pattern/colour is so bleh to me.

Which is why Brie Larson's tracksuit is soooo good. Accent colours! Use of shapes to flatter the cut!! They need to take note of the positive feedback and, AT THE VERY lEAST, release limited run similar to this if they're really unsure of these taking off. (And they will!)

I don’t know how many Kitson stores there were but there’s one still on Robertson in LA, along with a kids Kitson either next to or across it.

There’s also one in Santa Monica!

Oh really? I remember years ago they were talking about closing stores, including that one, and I think there was even a discount sale on their site. I just found this tho so I guess they turned them into kitross instead of closing them completely?

Interesting! I was around there a few weeks ago and I don't remember seeing the Kitross name. One of the places was a Kitson Outlet and I remember thinking how they had fallen.
