he is such a good actor. I hope his new show with Lee Pace is good because I adore them both.
I always want to talk to him about the GoT ending lol, I remember him being on Seth Meyers and being very emphatic that a woman belonged on the throne.
He was also a delight on Mad Men.
That said, Chernobyl was too upsetting for me to get past the second episode :/ Environmental disasters make me so upset.
It was really tough. I started watching season three at midnight when it released and after that episode I needed to just sit in the dark for a bit and then go to bed.
I'm so weirdly attracted to Jared Harris and I don't know how it started. Anyways, it's always a delight when he pops up in a show or movie I'm watching.
Tobias Menzies was so good as Philip. I don't know if it's him, or if they finally made Philip less whiny and jerkish. Josh O'Conner was great as Charles. Olivia Colman and Helena Bonham Carter are great as well, but that was a given. I could watch Olivia wash dishes in real time and be enthralled.
My hopes for them to go completely historical AU and kill off Phillip certainly calmed down this season, lol. I sort of understood his midlife crisis episode where he was obsessed with the moon landing and wanted philosophical answers of what it was like up there.
I really need to watch God's Own Country because damn, I really enjoyed Josh O'Connor as Charles.
The recast only really threw me off in the first episode when it takes place in the same year as the finale from last season. Particularly for all of the supporting characters like Martin and Michael
I watched the Aberfan episode last night and I kept thinking about it all night. That was probably the most depressing TV episode I've ever seen. It makes me wonder if they will do an episode focused on Lockerbie.
It’s crazy how the coal board was trying to make it seem as if it’s an act of God rather than institutional negligence.
I’m really ignorant when it comes to Welsh history so the two episodes highlighting how the Welsh people and their indigenous culture are neglected has been really eye opening.
I had heard a bit about the disaster before, but didn't know how it happened or just how many children died. It was a really rough episode to watch, but I'm glad to have learned more about it.
