If I was rich I would 100% do this. I am a pretty indifferent cook.

I’d hire a personal chef.

Right, it's not just about the money, ordered food is almost always unhealthy.

This number sounds like a lot but there are legit some rich people who are ordering on a daily basis and they're spending this a couple times over in a single year.

ok but $4,200 a year/365 days is actually only $11.50 a day... which isn't that obscene tbh

shit youre right lol.

and they're two people. 5/6 bucks per person for dinner every day isnt that crazy (if you'd count it as an an everyday thing which i know doesnt apply to this thing). i think my cafeteria fee at work is more than this and thats just lunch.

ETA: not trying to belittle the spend here, i know his delivery spending is a lot of money for a lot of people!

I was about to post the same thing. That’s not that bad, but I also wanna know how much they spend in groceries in a year. That way we can have a more conclusive study on Seth’s eating expenditure in order to bitch with proper data.

This is just postmates though. It doesn’t count walking to a coffee shop, physically going to a restaurant, etc

Uber eats ain't shit.  Those taxes are a bitch. By the time you've wrapped up your 8 dollar order, its somehow changed into a 18 dollar meal.  Its cheaper to drive there and get it or to learn how to cook.

of course it’s cheaper to get food yourself

you’re paying for convenience

Me too! And tbh I'm also a really bad cook. I mean, if I got a recipe then it's all good, but I could never be one of the people who just create a dish on their own, I have like no concept of which things go well together and I actually often struggle with the situation that I feel like something is missing from my meal (like some seasoning), but I never quite know which one would fit best, so I just add more salt or peppper.

Same I hate cooking. I have POTS as well so standing over a hot stove makes me feel like I’m dying
