I feel like I haven't heard anything about them in awhile, maybe bc they're finally realizing that the responses can be quite a bit more damning if they try to mention them to the wrong person

Yea they will, I see them now bringing up shit Democrats did 20 years ago as some kind of gotcha like, "well you guys didn't have a problem with this!" The funny part is a lot of them time the people they are talking to were children then so like, yea they probably didn't have a problem with it they were too busy watching cartoons.

As somebody who's not from the US, I have a stupid question: how likely is it at this point that he's going to get impeached? I don't really know how this works.

Chances are good he'll be impeached in the House, but the Senate isn't terribly likely to remove.

From the post:

. The House votes to Impeach. A simple majority 51% is all it takes to send the article(s) of impeachment to the Senate for a trial. Democrats have enough votes without bipartisan support.

. The Senate holds the trial to Remove. A 2/3rd super majority is required to Remove a President from office. It would take ~20 Republicans to break ranks.

Dems have the HOUSE majority, but Republicans have the Senate so he probably won't be removed.

The only theatrical bit of this is Devin Nunes's over-dramatic monologue he's giving right now.

it's especially funny reading this comment in hindsight because it could literally be on any of the posts for any of the impeachment inquiry testimonies and it would still be relevant. nunes is such a dramatic lil bitch.

I'm gonna be in a car dealership waiting room for two hours and I can't decide if I want them to have this on the TV or the screaming talk shows they usually show.
