The popularity of the show should be studied in school. How it went from obscure lifetime trash, to Netflix trending topics, memes and think pieces.

probably because not as many people are trusting Lifetime to give them trendy content.

A solid theory. “A Lifetime movie” or “A Lifetime series” probably carries a negative connotation for a certain demographic.

That's what I figured, too.

I binged Season 1 while at jury duty this summer and I kept wondering why the hell Beck never closed the curtains in her first floor apartment!!

same! couldn't be me!! if I ever lived in an apartment like that, my blinds and curtains would both be shut at all times.

I read someone's comment saying it was supposed to be a ~metaphor~ for how publicly she shared her life

I am pretty sure she didn't even have curtains.

But will someone passive-aggressively call him Joseph?

between this and the witcher i might stay at home this christmas and not go to the3 movies, i mean, star wars look boring, jumanji its so so and Cats looks BAD. Better stay at home and only spend 8 dollars for crappy tv shows that are comfy to watch

i only got to half of season 1. i actually enjoyed i for the most part until i was spoiled about the end. after that i just have no desire to finish. i can't imagine enjoying him stalk more women knowing how it'll likely end. i'm afraid enough of men lol. it kinda sucks though cause i did think penn was good in it (and found myself agreeing with some of the shit he said which was a mindfuck lemme tell you).
