This episode reminded me of a Twilight Zone episode called "The Invaders" because Agnes Moorehead didn't speak a word in it, either. The content wasn't the same though, lol.
And this episode played two of my favorite Christmas songs (Mistletoe and Holly - Frank Sinatra and Man With the Bag - Kay Starr)
I enjoyed the stressful scene, but the generic tech bro music took me out of the experience a little.
Also, Darlene should’ve wore a better disguise that didn’t look like it was just Darlene in a wig. Something like the same wig but with glasses, maybe some fake midsection pudge, brown contacts, and not wearing her usual black eyeliner.
I feel like Elliot got a little too unbelievably lucky. The cops would’ve called for back up and he would’ve been caught quick. I know adrenaline and shock can make people stronger than they usually are, but he had too many injuries to just keep going, including getting hit by that car so bad that he blacked out for a minute, then throwing himself over that fence, falling all that way down...nah.
