What a flop weekend! Can't wait to hear more about some of these; someone already mentioned in my indie roundup yesterday that Harriet was bad.

Got tickets for Terminator in Dolby tonight.... at least I'll be comfy if it's terrible.

all the reviews for harriet were 'she's good but the movie sucks' and i'm just going today with negative expectations

i saw terminator and it wasn't that bad actually. had the same spirit as the iconic T2 which was nice

Well that's disappointing. I was excited when I learned the director made "Eve's Bayou" and I loved that movie, so I was looking forward to it.

I saw Jojo Rabbit last night and thought it was a sweet story told during dark times. It feels familiar since Americans are living through it right now.

My sister has gathered a bunch of us to see Harriet. She's paying for it so I'm attending...not really excited for it.

I saw Terminator last Saturday and genuinely enjoyed it. The only person I know of who didn't like it is a guy and I told him that makes sense seeing as it's a female led, girl power movie. He wasn't happy. I'm enjoying his inability to argue why he didn't like it.

ANYWAY. It's a Terminator movie, it's what you expect, but better than some of them have been for sure.

Kind of...

[Spoiler (click to open)]John gets killed in basically the first scene and the timeline is all different so whilst Sarah has been kicking ass through the years, she and John aren't known in the future. But instead of John being the hero, it ends up being a woman and out of the three people protecting her to make sure she makes it, two of them are badass women.

The Terminator series is one of those where I refuse to listen to a man's opinion about it.

But I'm also one of those who firmly believes these films were always suppose to be about Sarah and not John like the sequels after T2 suggest.

I need to make time to see Terminator. Either Sunday or probably after work next week.

Ok, clearly I've got nothing to watch until, admittedly, Frozen 2.
