It's crazy to think about but the pre-BTD era (as in before she dropped the album) really was in 2011, damn--So I've been listening to her for that long. D: And yeah based on her music alone she really has been my favorite female musician of the 2010s. A problematic fave for sure lol.

I have several messy faves so I really can't shit on other people lol.

I always thought Lana did the pretentious stuff good cause any other artist I would've been rolling my eye hard.

The delusion is real.

If they would’ve said Beyoncé I would’ve understood that. Plus at least she has ties to actual major life events in the last 10 years, with a crossover appeal of it has made sure that your grandmother knows who the hell she is. But then we all know, a black woman sure as hell ain’t going to get credit for anything in this country.

Not when Beyoncé’s lemonade album was written by white men lmao

something the average person doesn't know and lana also uses white men, so anything to shit on someone not the token white girl of the moment.

and as an aside, you tearing at non-white women, what a surprise! people do see you.

Exactly Sweetie you tried to shade Lana by trying to paint Beyoncé as this great musician when a huge group of white man write her music “tied to her actual life events” and a team puts her whole image together (look how fake and pretentious and soulless her Instagram is.

Please stop replying to me.

she's kinda like Camila, someone who's big with gays online and pap agencies but IRL most people don't really know who she is tbh
