lol this was my thought exactly. he'd be a GREAT jon - self-deprecating but sympathetic

Now I really want Andrew Garfield to play Jon Arbuckle in some kind of a post-postmodernist Garfield adaptation. Somebody please make it happen.

i was into it at first but then i eventually realised that he is very corny (in a bad way) and also a pretty bad singer/actor

hamilton is good for what it is and i can't deny his talent as a writer but i feel like he's gotten to my bitch eating crackers tier

I still like the guy but I'm glad the *he's perfect* shine has worn off for most people. I think he's a very skilled writer and an okay performer (his rapping is good enough for Broadway but he cannot sing and his acting is hit and miss) but he's a theatre snob who is all about his money and the things he's done to make Hamilton "accessible" are just about creating good PR.

I saw two of three performances for this City Encores revival. Karen was off-key and screeching the song. But it was her LONG return to broadway so fine. But her interpretation was angrier than I expected.

Also, that’s THE green, green dress. Which was .. a choice....
