Bethesda has announced that the universally hated Fallout 76 now has a $12.99 a month or $99.99 a year subscription service that is being called Fallout 1st. The service will provide subscribers access to private worlds and a bunch of other perks that seem all-around useless for the price.

As expected, the announcement was met with the kind of universally negative response that has plagued the game ever since its release.

This also comes after the announcement that a major DLC update -- the return of non-playable characters -- has been delayed several months.
