I like girls that wear Abercrombie and Fitch. I'd take her if I had one wish but she's been gone since that summer...Since that summer

I have never stepped into a A&F. Only passed it by. The smell of musky cologne wafting out of that store makes me gag.

2006 Salon interview with the CEO Mike Jeffries

That's why we hire good-looking people in our stores. Because good-looking people attract other good-looking people, and we want to market to cool, good-looking people. We don't market to anyone other than that. ... In every school there are the cool and popular kids, and then there are the not-so-cool kids. Candidly, we go after the cool kids. We go after the attractive all-American kid with a great attitude and a lot of friends. A lot of people don't belong [in our clothes], and they can't belong. Are we exclusionary? Absolutely.

Nah. That store never appealed to me. I remember walking in when I was a teenager and walking back out. Why was it so dark?

They hired me my freshman year of college and then never called me back for my first day.

But it was probably for the best because it was during the time they kept black people in the back or constantly folding clothes.

tbh, having worked at Hollister myself, it's better to be in the back or folding clothes, than standing at the entrance greeting people all day.
