Queer Eye's Antoni Porowski sat down with Josh Smith at Glamour UK for the latest episode of their ongoing YouTube series UNFILTERED, where he talked body image, heritage, sexuality and more.
"because there wasn't a sense of comparison, we were different..."
honestly, i feel this, esp having an ed it's always been hard to be w women and not think i must look like shit next to them, their tits are better, their stomach is flatter etc.
i feel like 50% this way and 50% as if women will be more understanding of the fact that not every woman's body looks like women do in porn. like with men i feel much more self-conscious about my tits not being perky enough or whether or not i removed literally every hair from my body, if my legs are prickly, is he going to get weird/repulsed if i get my period, etc
( ... )
I really, truly wish I understood this line of thinking.
hmm, i kinda understand if this is about him having a definite preference for men, since many people incorrectly assume bisexuality means a roughly 50/50 attraction to men and women; i know many bi people are asked to ~explain~ or account for themselves if they identify as bi but are mostly dating one gender
(idk who this guy is, but based on his wiki page, he's mostly been with men)
i should've watched the video first b/c that "if you don't belong to a certain group, they don't have control over you" quote was iffy :-/
reminds me of when rooney mara suggested lisbeth salander was too ~cool~ for feminism b/c she wouldn't want to be tied down by any label/group/somethin' (i forgot what the exact quote was)

But let's not act like the gay world doesn't bend over backwards and expect next to nothing for okay looking white guys.
