I rather liked it! I think if I was a kid, I would have found it unsettling. My favorites are: The Tale of the Dead Man's Boat, Tale of the Doll Maker (Susan reminds me of Taylor Swift lolol), The Tale of the Hatching and The Tale of the Thirteenth Floor.

I fucking loved Are You Afraid of the Dark? growing up. I would come home from school and do my homework while watching it. It's what cheered me up after my shitty day at school.

Also, anyone know where I can get a Watch Horror Movies shirt/hoodie that the kid wears? I can't find one like it, just one with like five shitty fonts together.

The two I liked watching were the episode where that girl turns into a doll and the “house next door” where the dead girl is in the mirror.
Episodes that still haunt me: blue goo mouth people
Episodes I think about for no reason from time to time: the one where the kid stayed younger by taking pictures of people, the two kids get taken to some weird alien zoo and the aliens have no faces, the kid who fell down the elevator and “they didn’t know what was blood and what was strawberry ice cream” but that one is only because as an adult you should be able to figure out the difference.

Am I excited there’s a new ayaoftd? Clearly. All kids need to be scared a bit.

I really liked it. I had to remember that it's for kids now and not necessarily for me because when I saw the creepy masks and the choppy forest shots I eye rolled.
