This season looks pretty good tbh obviously the Blossom family horror story is the most interesting to me. Looks like everybody this season is getting a secret long-lost sibling lmao wtf.

Thank God they already confirmed that Cheryl's arc is ending on episode 9. It's time to let go of Jason and focus on the future. Hopefully we get Toni's backstory on 4B because I'm TIRED of only knowing like 3 random facts about my girl.

the info they shared at nycc, plus this trailer, has some of my worries about cheryl and what they're gonna do with her, lessened. ras said choni is going strong and there's no plans to break them up, that her storyline they've been building since s1 (saying goodbye to her brother) will climax in ep 9 (midseason finale, i'm assuming) and madchen said in an interview that they they have a counselor in ep 8 that helps everyone, so whew.

anxious for the fred episode, i'm ready to cry.

Oh gosh a counselor for everyone lol they heard all our "THEY NEED THERAPY" comments and just decided to put them all in one group session huh? Cackling @ RAS the sly devil.

I am actually excited to see Cheryl deal with her grief more, because I still don't feel like she's gotten the full closure that she's needed, and her struggles with grief are really what drew me to her character in the first place. She always inspires me when she rises above adversity, I'm excited to see her finally get closure and be even stronger.

mads said she was working with someone she's been a fan of for awhile last week, which i'm assuming is the counselor (i tweeted that i hope it's a therapist when she posted it and i'll take it!) so i'm curious who it is, since i assume it's a name, to some extent. i'm surprised ras didn't tease the plot/guest star at nycc tbh

and i'm all here for the exploring cheryl's grief and all that, but i'm less here for it being done through her hiding and having tea parties with her brother'd decaying corpse :/

I hear ya and I'd prefer it to be more grounded as well but hey it's Riverdale so I don't expect anything realistic or even remotely healthy to happen to anyone lol. So I'll take the gothic horror story that is Cheryl's plot right now. She just looks so good lurking around the shadows of Thornhill/Thistlehouse and Mads is an excellent scream queen!
