Vice is supposedly the gatekeeper of trends, but they are way behind the times when it comes to appreciating VH1's reality shows. More than a decade after the shows air, the network/magazine/coke-fueled-hipster-scum-pond has offered its guide on these classic shows.

I've been rewatching a lot of Celebreality over the past year, to the point where I almost wanna start a blog because I have takes for daaaaaays lmao.

I Love Money is by far the best show they've ever done. It was Bachelor in Paradise using Celebreality people. Megan is so brilliant, she was in 2019 while we were all in 2009. Mr. Boston has no shame and no boundaries and it's at once hilarious and disturbing in the way that only pre-influencer reality television can be. And Buckwild and Entertainer hooking up was so inevitable idk why I didn't see it coming.

I rewatched all of Rock of Love, Daisy of Love, and Charm School around this time last year. It was fantastic. I miss those older reality shows. I can't believe how that era of reality shows all ended, the story of the murder is horrifying.

Current reality show contestants are motivated by getting IG followers now, it's so different.
