I maybe get her not making a ton of money for the first movie because she wasn't well known but fuck Hawke and Linklater for not fighting for pay parity for her when she's so integral to the series.

Also she's mentioned her problems with Linklater before because she said she and Hawke re-wrote the dialogue for the first movie and he refused to give them co-writing credit for it.

I'm glad she's doing her own directing and producing stuff now because honestly.

Wooow even when writing the second one she only got half his pay, damn. So glad she held out for the third.

These films are legit equally about two people so having a pay gap between those two is so disappointing.
