This is a very dull suit for him, why isn't he in some laser-cut Berluti confection

Nor Sean Harris nor Ben Mendelsohn! I will not stand for this disrespect!! (jk OP) Of course I went and stood there for like 20 minutes wringing my hands about it, but then I decided it was too crowded and humid and I was too old to bother hanging around when my boys probably weren't coming, and it seems I made the right choice.

But I feel bad for the stans who were there since like 8:30 AM who didn't get in; it's a small theatre and the first come-first serve ticket thing is always a mess. But apparently Tim-Tam gave out bagels and customized t-shirts, so some of 'em got something, at least.

(Also, reading all the tweets about it has taught me the phrases "oomfs," "moots" and "Charmies." I have so much to learn about the youths of today.)

I wondered about your men!! Do they hate promo, or are they working, or do they just live in Europe? I assume they'll turn up at the London premiere.

I know that logistically they have to overbook free events - they do it in LA all the time - but with him in the movie, they probably had almost all of the passholders show up. I feel bad for the people who went all the way there and couldn't get in, and the ones who camped out all day hoping to get in without tickets. But I thought it was really nice that Netflix had set up a second free screening for fans in addition to the premiere. And yeah, the bagels thing was based on a Twitter joke, so that was sweet.

Idk anything about oomfs or moots, but Charmies scare me.

Sean is insanely press-shy and apparently only does the big festivals because they force him to or something, lol. Ben seems to like it more, but he's always shooting 9,000 things anyway. I think they're both scheduled to appear at LFF, though.

Yeah, that second screening at the Quad apparently even had a Q&A with him! That's rare for free screenings. Netflix certainly tried, but it sounds like the security kind of underestimated the crowds (and let people line-jump) and it turned into a mess. And also fangirls are nuts and someone jumped the barrier?? lol yikes

(Turns out it's just "one of my followers" and "mutuals," but for a second I was like 'don't Google this unless you're prepared to learn something you can't unlearn.' "Charmies" I figured out on my own. I just...why...is that a thing)

the yellow turtleneck is an offense to my eyes. i'm digging the hairstyle though

honestly where the fuck is this movie playing on october 11? since the big theater chains are anti-netflix and this movie had its premiere in nyc today?? watch it play at some really tiny indie theater for a week and be gone sigh. i hate oscar bait movies that are stuck with netflix releases, and i would've liked to see movies like 'the king' and 'the irishman' on the big screen too.

Netflix movies almost always play at Landmark in LA, so maybe check out the Landmark schedules in NYC? But yeah, it sucks that it won't get many screens because none of the big chains will play a movie with such a short window between release and streaming.

I will always be interested in his fashion choices.

This is mild for him and I'd like to report that the local NBC news anchor in Atlanta is wearing a hi-lighter yellow shirt under her blazer and SHE LOOKS GOOD!
