I've only seen him in Breaking Bad but he was a great actor in it, so I'm looking forward to seeing him in Westworld and the BrBa movie.

As for the struggle, his head/face potato-d out in the later seasons of BrBa though so maybe that's why tbh; too many potatoes already!

His face and head really did just.....balloon. I found him so hot in the early days of BB and then he shaved off his hair and became a human egg.

He just doesn’t have the big star appeal and/or the required studio back up, there are many actors that keep getting chances even if they’re always flops

There are TV actors and movie actors and a lot of people don't get this.

He could be the lead in a TV series, he doesn't have to play the character role. He just hasn't hit on the right formula yet.
