I tried watching this for Sean Astin. I just couldn't after a couple episodes. The laugh track was horrible. And OP has "comedy" in quotes for a good reason.

The first half of the season was kind of silly, but the second half was pretty good. I really liked it and I’m sad it’s cancelled.

But it’s Netflix and a show is super lucky if it even gets a second season, so I’m not surprised. They didn’t even promote it.

Yeah the second half was definitely better.

I’m ok with it being cancelled. Or at least I was mentally prepared for it. The season finale felt like a finale ... if we ignore that last bit about the picture of her mom.

It definitely got better during the second half. I think it was cute for what it was; a tween comedy, but there were lots of times you could tell it was written by adults who were writing what they think teens would say. Very "how do you do fellow kids" lol

With that title it was almost like a self fulfilling prophecy.

OT I have to be in Dallas all week for work and I’m getting up at 3:30 am tomorrow to get ready since I’ll be going straight from the airport to the jobsite. Ugh. I’m not even tired but i need to try to be asleep in an hour.

I feel like there is something similar on Amazin buy more adult and more of a drama.

I want to see more of Sean Astin but not as the KFC Colonel

You’re right. The show is called Sneaky Pete starring Giovanni Ribisi who plays an ex-con con artist who has convinced the family of his cell mate that he, Ribisi, is actually his cell mate and he is their long lost family member.
